On Monday, 11th November, Singapore's Honorable non-resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Derek Loh visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami with a three-member delegation and held a courtesy meeting with the central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of cordiality and sincerity.
In the meeting, they openly discussed the bilateral issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and Singapore. The issue of making Bangladesh's democracy meaningful was discussed with high importance. It is hoped that mutual relations, development and progress will continue between the two countries in the future.
On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, party's acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman, Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahboob Zubair, Central Executive Council Member Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Central Executive Council Member, Central Publicity and Media Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda, and Central Executive Council Member Mubarak Hossain were present in the program.
