A view exchanging meeting has been held today, 12th August, 2024 between Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM). The participants discussed the prevailing situation of the country and emphasized on establishing peace and order. They also urged the citizens to be vocal so that no miscreant can disturb the situation.
It was also said in the exchange meeting that everyone should give priority to the country above everything else. No one's party interest should not get priority. A nefarious group is conspiring in various ways to thwart the mass revolution of the students. Vested quarters have been making efforts to destabilize the country and subsequently try to shift the blame impose the incident on political parties. Citizens should be careful about all these issues. People should be vigilant and alert that no one takes the law into their hands. In the prevailing situation, the leaders of all parties and professions must play a united role. Everyone should come forward for building the country by extending solidarity to the students and the people. The meeting calls for a speedy prosecution of those, who were involved in recent genocide and anarchy.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam and Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim were present in the meeting.
Whereas, on behalf of Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM), party Chairman Bobby Hajjaz, Vice Chairman Mr. Farooq-Uz-Zaman, Secretary General Mominul Amin, Senior Joint Secretary General Md. Jahangir Hossain, Humayun Parvez Khan and Office Secretary Jabedur Rahman were present in the meeting.
