Dhaka south city Jamaat organizes Eid reunion and inaugurates mass contact campaign

The message of Islam to be conveyed to door to door

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said, we have to ensure consistency in the field of Dawah. We have to prepare ourselves for the Islam. Then we have to convey the message of Islam firstly to our families and the relatives and the neighbors. No one should remain out of the periphery of our Dawah activities. There should be similarity between our words and works.

Transactions, behavior, conversation and social activities must be conducted as per Islam. We have to continue the Islamic movement despite all barriers and obstructions. We have to stand by the side of the people. We must engage ourselves in pro-people activities. Only then, our dawah activities will be fruitful and effective.

Jamaat Ameer said this while addressing an Eid reunion and the inauguration of the Mass contact and Dawah campaign organized by Dhaka south city Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the program which was hosted by city secretary and party’s central working committee member Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud. Jamaat’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim, Islami Chhatrashibir’s central president Monzurul Islam, Jamaat’s central executive committee member Matiur Rahman Akanda, Mobarak Hossain, Dhaka north city Ameer Muhammad Selim Uddin, Dr. Khalilur Rahman Madani, BFUJ President Ruhul Amin Gazi addressed the program as special guests. Besides, members of the martyr’s families, Mamun Al Azami, Barrister Nazim Momen, Ali Ahmad Mabrur, Hasan Imam Wafy, Hasan Jamil, Masood Sayedee, Muhammad Bin Quasem Salman also spoke on the occasion. Dhaka south city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir, Advocate Helal Uddin and assistant secretary Delwar Hossain, Kamal Hossain and Abdul Mannan were also present in the program.

Jamaat Ameer said, we are adamant to produce courageous and sincere working force by actively taking part in the movement. We have to arrange offline program instead of online initiatives. We have to understand the activities of the Islamic movement and to work accordingly. It is the obligation of every leader and activist of Jamaat-e-Islami to convey the message of Islam to the people of all classes and sections. Jamaat did not take part in the last national election. This fund will be spent for the public welfare. We have to intensify our social activities.


Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, we have to uphold the lesson of the holy month of Ramadan. We have to continue additional ibadah, which we have performed in Ramadan. Quran should be recited sincerely and regularly. Dawah of Islam should be spread to the houses of all city dwellers.


Nurul Islam Bulbul said, we have to utilize the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan. Our mass contact and Dawah campaign will continue for next 15 days. To make Islam victorious on this land, we have to work widely and wholeheartedly. We have to reach to the people of all classes with our Dawah books and other helping tools. We have to promote leadership from the grassroots. Dhaka south city Jamaat will play an active role in developing the country by producing honest and sincere leadership. He urged the leaders and activists to remain more sincere in implementing the dreams of our martyr leaders.


Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, the main target of attaining Taqwa is to make the movement for establishing Islam successful. Many brothers have sacrificed their lives in this land for Islam. We will celebrate the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr by making Islam victorious in this country. Dhaka south city Jamaat has to utilize the full potentials of Mass contact and Dawah campaign in order to establish a strong organization in the capital.

Hamidur Rahman Azad said, we have to continue the work of Islamic movement like our prophets and honest predecessors. In this Dawah campaign, we must convey the Dawah of the Quran to the people. We will continue this work ignoring all problems and barriers. We have to attain proximity to the people through noble behaviors.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, the aggressor forces and their local collaborators have murdered more than 3 hundred leaders and activists including our top leaders. But they could not stop our movement and we will continue it in future by the grace of Allah.

Monzurul Islam said, we are in a movement which will pave the way for salvation both in this world and the hereafter. As individuals, we have to establish a clean image. To ensure the victory of Islam in this country, we have to expand our social programs.
