Union leadership conference held in

Proactive roles to be played in the movement and implementing programs

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said, Jamaat leaders and activists have to play proactive roles in the upcoming movement. The government must be forced to step down and also to restore caretaker government system. Massive movement to be launched against the oppressor government.

He said this while addressing a union leadership conference today. Nilphamari district’s Joldhaka Upazila organized the program. Upazila Ameer Mokhlesur Rahman presided over the program which was hosted by Upazila secretary Moammar Al Hasan.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to establish Islam systematically in this country. Our ultimate goal is to attain success in the hereafter by establishing Deen Islam. As a mean of the systematic movement, Jamaat considers election as an important event. Ahead of the next election, Jamaat leaders and activists have to play proactive roles in the upcoming movement.

Among others, Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s team member and Nilphamari district Ameer Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Rangpur city Jamaat’s secretary and the nominee for Nilphamari-3 constituency Maulana Obaidullah Salafi addressed the program. Joldhaka Upazila Nayeb-e-Ameer Md. Kamaruzzaman, Joldhaka Upazila Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary Muzahid Masum were present on the occasion.
