Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman distributed tins and clothes among the flood victims of Azmiriganj, Shibpasha, and Baniachong under Habiganj district this morning. He also declared a special package to repair the Azmiriganj Upazila mosque which has been damaged by the recent flood.

During these occasions, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, dangers come from Almighty Allah and He is the alone to rescue people from such calamity. So, we have to seek His blessing more during the period of danger and crisis. He said we have come here by the grace of Almighty Allah with our limited capacity. I am praying to Allah. May Allah forgive us and save us from danger. May Allah accept our birthland for Islam and help all of us to establish Islam in this country.

Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahasanul Mahabub Zubayer, Habiganj district Ameer Abdur Rahman Master, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Mukhlesur Rahman, Sylhet city Jamaat Secretary Shahjahan Ali, Habiganj district secretary Principal Kazi Mohsin Ahmad, Azmiriganj Upazila Ameer Shuaib Pasha, Baniachong Upazila’s former Ameer Abdul Hannan Arju, Nobiganj Upazila’s former vice chairman Maulana Ashraf Ali, Maulana Abdul Hie, Maulana Habibur Rahman and others were present on the occasions.
