Today, 8 December (Monday) at 9:00 AM, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was paid a courtesy call at his Bashundhara office by His Excellency Haji Haris bin Othman, the Bruneian High Commissioner to Dhaka. At that time, he was accompanied by Mr. Rozaimi Abdullah, the First Secretary of the High Commission.

The meeting held in a very cordial and warm atmosphere and openly discussed the constructive role of Jamaat-e-Islami in various democratic movements, including the mass revolution of ’24.

A firm optimism was expressed that the economic development, progress, and prosperity of the two brotherly countries will be further strengthened in the future.
