Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan has issued the following statement on 12 December 2020 offering prayer seeking quick recovery of ailed Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Allama Nur Hossain Qasemi.

Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh, Allama Nur Hossain Kasemi has been undergoing treatment in a hospital of the capital since 1st December due to Dyspnoea and some other diseases. He has taken into ICU as his physical condition has been deteriorated alarmingly. He is in critical condition now. We are praying to Almighty Allah seeking his quick recovery. May Allah bless him to get well soon and to serve people again.
