On Monday, October 6, at 9 a.m., the Honorable Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Bangladesh, Mr. Lulzim Pllana, paid a courtesy visit and joined a breakfast meeting with the Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at his office in Bashundhara, Dhaka.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador inquired about the health condition of Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and wished him a full and speedy recovery.

The meeting was held in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere. During the discussion, they exchanged views on the overall situation prevailing in Bangladesh, the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Kosovo, and other matters of mutual interest. Both expressed optimism that Kosovo will continue to extend its firm support to Bangladesh in the future.

Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former Member of Parliament Professor Mia Golam Porwar, and Assistant Secretary General and party’s Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair were present during the meeting.
