On the afternoon of Sunday, August 3, Mr. Muhammad Sagar Hossain, APS to the Honorable President, visited United Hospital on behalf of the Honorable President to inquire about the health condition of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. Mr. Sagar Hossain was received by Assistant Secretary General of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, along with Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s younger brother, Mr. Fakhrul Islam, who is also a member of the Central Working Committee and Ameer of Sylhet City Jamaat-e-Islami.

At the time, APS Mr. Sagar Hossain conveyed that Honorable President Md. Shahabuddin had sent his greetings and well wishes to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and wished him a speedy recovery. Jamaat-e-Islami expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to the Honorable President for inquiring about the treatment of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
