On Sunday, July 20, leaders of various Islamic parties visited Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at his residence in Bashundhara to inquire about his health.

Among those who visited were: Senior Nayeb-e-Ameer of Islami Oikya Jote and Ameer of the Islamic Law Implementation Committee, Maulana Abu Taher Jihadi Al Qasemi; Ameer of Bangladesh Khilafat Andolon, Maulana Habibullah Miaji; Nayeb-e-Ameer Mujibur Rahman Hamidi; Joint Secretary General Maulana Sanaullah Hafezzi; and Organizational Secretary Mufti Sultan Mohiuddin.

Also present were Ameer-e-Shariat of Khilafat Andolon, Mufti Abu Zafar Qasemi, and Secretary General Mufti Fakhrul Islam; Secretary General of Bangladesh Nizam-e-Islam Party, Mufti Musa bin Izhar; Nayeb-e-Ameer of Khilafat Andolon, Maulana Abul Kasem Qasemi; Nayeb-e-Ameer Alhaj Rafiqul Islam Babul; Secretary Mufti Niamat Ullah; and Organizational Secretary Maulana Muhammad Hossain Akand.

Member of Jamaat’s Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Central Ulama Department Dr. Mufti Maulana Khalilur Rahman Madani; President of the South Dhaka City Ulama Division Maulana Mosharraf Hossain; President of the North Dhaka City Ulama Division Dr. Maulana Mim Atikulllah; a senior official of the South City Ulama Division; Maulana Shahin Hossain Chandpuri, and Saiful Sagar, proprietor of Face the People, among others were present on the occasion.

During the visit, they inquired about the Ameer’s health and treatment, and prayed to Allah (SWT) for his quick and complete recovery. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for coming to see him out of love and concern.
