Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar visited the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka at 3:00 PM on April 30.
Expressing deep grief over the recent tragic incident in which more than 70 people were killed and more than 1,000 others were injured in a horrific chemical explosion at Shaheed Razai Port near Bandar Abbas in Iran on April 26, Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar signed the condolence book, which was kept at the Iranian Embassy.
He prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased and expressed his deep condolences to their families and the injured and wished a speedy recovery of the injured. He expressed his hope that the government and people of Iran would soon be able to overcome this great loss.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair and the Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh Mr. Mansur Chavoshi were present on the occasion.
