On February 7, marking the 46th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the Honorable Ambassador of Iran to Bangladesh, Mr. Mansour Chavousi, organized an event at the ‘Hotel Westin’ in Dhaka. The event was attended by ambassadors from various countries, diplomats, political leaders, retired military officials, and senior government officials.

Representing Jamaat-e-Islami at the event were Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, and Jamaat’s Central Executive Council Member and party’s publicity and media secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda.

During the event, Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar handed over a goodwill message from Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman to the Honorable Ambassador of Iran.

The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation expressed their hope that the friendly relations between Iran and Bangladesh would further strengthen in the future.
