Cash distributed among flood victims in Dumuria

We are determined to establish human rights and build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh

-Professor Mia Golam Parwar

Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that, it is not possible to eliminate waterlogging in a day or a month. An elected government is required to solve this crisis. Those who are chosen by the people, will come to power and solve the problems, which had been created due to previous government`s money laundering, theft, robbery and corruption. He said, we ourselves are responsible for the flooding. We created waterlogging by blocking the canals and rivers. With the help of government officials, the Awami fascists blocked the water in all the canals and dams. Awami fascists and their allies are still in the administration. They should be removed immediately. If not, there is a fear that the government may fail. Because Awami fascists have continued conspiracies both at national and international level. We have to work together to counter all their conspiracies.

He said this while addressing a cash distribution program among the affected day laborers and farmers who were affected by the flood in Saarabita area of Rangpur union of Dumuria upazila of Khulna district on Sunday (November 17) morning.

We do politics to establish this country as a welfare state based on justice and fairness in light of the noble ideals of Islam. Where the basic human rights will be implemented. People's life and property will be safe. As a result of this state system, people will be assured of their right to express themselves freely and will stand on the side of humanity.

He said, Jamaat always tries to stand by all affected and helpless people irrespective of party, caste, religion and caste. Social service and social reform is one of the four-point programs of Jamaat-e-Islami. We believe that it is our religious responsibility and duty to work for the welfare of people. Keeping that goal in mind, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami stands by the people throughout the year in any danger and calamity. We are always on the side of humanity, God willing.

He also said that effective steps should be taken to alleviate the suffering of the common people by spending money from the government's treasury to resolve the waterlogging immediately. Referring to the increase in the prices of daily necessities, he said, there is still a syndicate of Awami fascism's henchmen in the market. If these syndicates cannot be broken, it is not possible to reduce the price of goods. These influential syndicates want to make the people aggrieved against the government by increasing the prices of essentials. Everyone should build resistance against these syndicates.
