Brahmanbaria district Jamaat's workers' conference held

Jamaat Ameer calls to break the market syndicate to reduce the commodity prices

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “We want to establish a welfare state, which is free from discrimination and exploitation. To do so, we have given 41 points of recommendations. We have urged the interim government to implement at least 10 recommendations for now. We want to see a Bangladesh where no human being is deprived of his rightful civil rights irrespective of gender, caste, and religion.”

He said this while addressing the workers's conference organised by Brahmanbaria district Jamaat today. District Ameer Golam Farooq presided over the conference which was hosted by District Secretary Muhammad Mubarak Hossain Akanda. Jamaat's Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, central Majlish-e-Shura member and valiant freedom fighter Mohammad Abdus Sattar and Principal Kazi Nazrul Islam Khadem spoke on the occasion as special guests. Among others, former District Ameer Syed Golam Sarwar, District Nayeb-e-Ameer Kazi Yakub Ali, publicity secretary of Dhaka North city Jamaat Ataur Rahman Sarkar were also present in the program.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "We dream that every child will get all the rights from the state. We want to hand over such an education to our children, which will make them good citizens with moral sense.

We want a society where a justice aspirant does not have to face various harassments in the court premises. No judge will be fearful of anyone except Almighty Allah. Proceedings will be conducted according to the law of the state. If someone appears in the court with a false complaint, he should be punished for making a false complaint as well. And if someone comes forward with a valid complaint, then he will not be deprived of justice.”

He said, "Syndicates are still functioning in the commodity market who affiliated with the fascist forces. of dictator's friends in the market. Because of their ill-practices, prices of the essentials are beyond the reach of common men now. These syndicates have to be destroyed to curb the commodity prices.”

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "It will not be tolerated that any person will stay on the footpath due to lack of money and poverty. It will be the responsibility of the state to ensure shelter for every deprived and poor family.
