Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Nayeb-e-Ameer and former lawmaker Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher hold a courtesy meeting today with Brunei Darussalam's High Commissioner in Dhaka on Monday, September 23. At that time, Jamaat's Secretary General and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar was also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, the role of Jamaat-e-Islami in various democratic movements of Bangladesh and the constructive role of Jamaat's public representatives in the National Parliament were highlighted.

At that time, they also discussed the bilateral issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and Brunei and wished for the development, progress and prosperity of both countries.
