Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we will contribute from each place for building the nation in the coming days, Inshallah. We do not believe in dividing the nation, rather unifying the nation is our motto. Party and religion will have their own positions. But we all remain united for national interest. He said these things while addressing an exchange meeting with the leaders of the Bangladesh Faraezi Andolon.
An exchange meeting of Bangladesh Faraezi Andolon with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held on Sunday, 25th August. Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, and Maulana Abdul Halim, Executive Council Member and Central Publicity and Media Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda, Bangladesh Faraezi Andolon Chairman Maulana Abdullah Muhammad Hasan (grandson of Haji Shariatullah), Ameer of Islamic Law Implementation Council Maulana Abu Taher Jihadi Al Qasemi, Secretary General of Islamic Law Implementation Council Mufti Faizullah Ashrafi, Secretary General of Association for Islamic Media Personalities Hafez Maulana Khalid Saifullah Baksi, Information Secretary of Bangladesh Faraezi Andolon Maulana Md. Fazlul Karim.
The meeting discussed about the strategies that how the country will return to peace and order and what can be done to create such an environment where every citizen of the country can live with peace and dignity. Jamaat Ameer said "After fifteen and a half years of misrule, the country has changed on 5th August. We don't want minority and majority, we want unity.
Jamaat Ameer also said that many lives have been lost during this movement. We pray seeking the salvations of their departed souls. May Allah accept them as martyrs and heal those who were injured. During this movement, marches and meetings were held in many places. Even the expatriates had stopped sending remittances to the country due to corruption by the previous government. They have fought this battle equally. We congratulate them. We will request the current government to expedite the status of remittance givers whom we call remittance warriors. We have to rehabilitate them if possible, or arrange to bring them back with utmost dignity."

We agreed with him in his role to build a beautiful state and coordinated social system. People of all walks of lives including the scholars, religious leaders, and leaders and activists of political parties, we will all work together, Inshallah.
