Jamaat-e-Islami and Gono Odhikar Parishad leaders exchange views; calls to bring the offenders of the massacre to the justice

A view-exchanging meeting between Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Gono Odhikar Parishad was held on Sunday, 11th August, 2024. Two party leaders discussed the prevailing situation of the country and everyone in the meeting emphasized on establishing peace and order in the country. All the countrymen were urged to be alert so that no miscreant can foil the situation anywhere.

It was also said in the exchange meeting that a vested quarter is conspiring in various ways to thwart the mass revolution of the students. Miscreants are trying to cause notorious incidents in somewhere in the country and try to impose the liability upon the political parties. All countrymen should be careful about these ill-efforts. People have to be vigilant and aware so that no one takes the law into their hands.

The discussion meeting drew the attention of the administration to bring those involved in the massacre and anarchy to justice.

Among others, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, party’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Md Taher, Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Hamidur Rahman Azad (Former MP) and Maulana Abdul Halim, Central Executive Council Member Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Central Publicity and Media Department Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda, Central Executive Council Member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul and Central Executive Council Member Mubarak Hossain were present in the meeting.

On behalf of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, party president Nurul Haque Noor and General Secretary Mr. Rashed Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
