Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar has said, "The ruling Awami government has taken away the freedom of speech of the countrymen in the name of so-called development. They deprived the people of their right to cast vote and other basics. The student communities and young generation are being destroyed as the authorities have removed all Islamic and ethical elements from the curriculum gradually. Educated youths roam the cities as unemployed. However, by reinstating the quota system, the government is plotting this heinous plan to finalize the appointment of party workers by depriving the talented. The Awami League government, which has been in the office unjustifiably for last 15 years and they have to be accountable for this hazardous situation. The government is in power like an evil force and by signing one after one agreement with India, they have put country’s independence and sovereignty at stake. They also paralyzed the country through unbridled corruption. Basically, all these are happening as the incumbent dictatorial government is not elected by the people. So, they have no responsibility towards the people of this country. History has witnessed that in the past, no autocratic government has been able to carry out oppression and torture, and this government will not succeed either, Inshallah.

Addressing the Jamaat workers, he said, we must have proper knowledge about the Islamic movement. The practical life of the workers of the Islamic movement should be exemplary to others. As a worker of Jamaat-e-Islami, the behavior should be attarctive to the people of the society. Beloved Prophet (pbuh) was able to win over the hearts of the ignorant masses of the the Makkah and Madina with his characteristic beauties. The workers of the Islamic movement must also possess such character qualities. All efforts should be made to overthrow an established Jahiliyyah and make the Deen of Almighty Allah victorious in this land. Our main motto is to be a true worker of the Islamic movement by sacrificing our lives and property. We are struggling against established ignorance. It is not an easy task. There had been a strong opponent against the Islamic movement in all ages. Even in Bangladesh, Jamaat-e-Islami had to face lots of barriers and obstacles. By reading the history of the Islamic movement, we have come to know that through the ages, the Prophet, the Messenger of Allah, the Messenger of Allah, have ensured the victory of Islam by fighting against the strong opponents in their time.

He said, Bangladesh is our beloved homeland. Here we dream of watching the victory of Islam. Here in the Muslim society, we are a few people who have come down to fight against all the doctrines of shirk, atheism and man-made. We want to uproot this ignorance along with its roots. Later, we want to make arrangements to keep the Quran and Sunnah running everywhere in the management of this society. Almighty Allah has ordered the management of the society and the state through His book. Because only Quran and Sunnah can ensure the real welfare and success in human life.

He said this while addressing a day-long workshop organized by Dhaka south city Jamaat for the selected workers today. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the program which was hosted by city secretary and Jamaat’s central working committee member Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, central executive committee member Principal Abdur Rab and Principal Ijjat Ullah, Dhaka south city’s assistant secretary Delwar Hossain and Abdul Mannan addressed the program. Among others, Dhaka city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member Abdus Sabur Fakir and Dhaka city Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary and Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member Kamal Hossain were present on the occasion.

The beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), has created a golden state by enriching his companions with good morals and a noble ideology. Alhamdulillah, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been able to make a group of people in this country by upholding the same ideology. Today, the people of this country want to change their fate. They are eager to see people with true morals in the government. They are extremely eager to accept the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami. If free and fair election is held in the country under a neutral caretaker government, then the expectations of the majority of the people of the country will be reflected, Inshallah. He called upon the leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami to serve the people of the society by conducting pro-people activities.

Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is working to build a successful Islamic society. We are working to promote the religion of Allah in the green land of this country. For this reason, the call of Islamic discipline should be conveyed to all the people of the capital Dhaka through a systematic and well-planned dawah work. The plan given by the organization should be well read and understood and the city areas should be utilized accordingly. Remember that no work can be done properly without planning. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is working to establish the basic and political rights of the people of this country. At the same time, Jamaat has always played a vocal role against oppression. Jamaat cannot be suppressed by the threat of imprisonment, prosecution, torture and murder. The workers of Jamaat-e-Islami should serve humanity by standing by the side of the people in out of season.

Nurul Islam Bulbul said, let this day-long education camp of ours be a means of eternal salvation. We want to produce honest, competent and skilled people in all sectors of society. Jamaat workers means social workers, so the call of Islam should reach people from house to house through social work. Social leadership should be created. The teaching of Quran should be promoted through Talimul Quran. To implement the plan of the organization, the workers have to work very hard. People's right to vote and other basics have been taken away. He called upon the workers to play the sincere and pro-active to ensure the departure of this fascist government and the restoration of all the just rights of the people.
