Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said, the leaders must be enriched with the knowledge of the holy Quran. The activists usually come to them seeking Quranic solution. Those courageous people actually can attain success who are not of fearful of anything except Almighty Allah. Therefore, all leaders have to play pivotal role in the Dawah field.

Jamaat Ameer said this while addressing a conference organized by Chittagong city Jamaat-e-Islami on Friday marking mass contact and Dawah week.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Chittagong city Ameer, former MP Shahjahan Chowdhury presided over the conference which was hosted by city secretary and Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member Principal Mohammad Nurul Amin. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Mohammad Shahjahan and central organizing secretary Dr. Samiul Haq Faruqee addressed the program as special guest.

Among others, Chittagong city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. A Z M Obaidullah, city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Nazrul Islam and assistant secretary Muhammad Ullah spoke on the occasion. Noted religious scholar Professor Dr. Abu Bakar Rafique presented Dars-ul-Quran in the program.

Jamaat Ameer said, our leaders have to maintain noble manners and good characters. We have to modify ourselves as per the Sunnah. We have to ensure consistency in the field of Dawah. We have to prepare ourselves for the Islam. Then we have to convey the message of Islam firstly to our families and the relatives and the neighbors. No one should remain out of the periphery of our Dawah activities. We have to bring the professionals under the umbrella of our movement.

Jamaat Ameer said, we have to remain active in all programs of our movement. May Allah make our path easier and blessed. He urged the manpower to observe next 15 days as Mass contact and Dawah campaign. All leaders, from the central to the grassroots, have to conduct Dawah activities and we have to implement this work through proper planning and sound scheme.

He said, the path of the ideological movement was never easy. As we have no alternative but this ideology, so for the betterment in this world and the hereafter, we have to remain firm on this vision. Our working strategies are defined and very explicit. So, we have to apply it in all stages. We have to convince the people through our nobility, particularly with our manners, behaviors and the religious beauties.

Muhammad Shahjahan said, to save the society from moral degradation, we have to guide people towards the path of the Prophet (pbuH). We have to execute the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan throughout the year. One of the basic activities of the Islamic movement is to call people towards Islam. We have to ingrain the seeds of Tawhid, Risalah and the hereafter among the people. We have to continue Dawah activities both in personal and collective levels.

City Ameer Shahjahan Chowdhury said, Dawah is a mandatory task for establishing an ideology. All Prophets had called the people towards the path of Allah. Since the onset, Jamaat-e-Islami has been carrying out this Dawah activities. Our call is for building a quality life and also for the Islamic movement. Under the existing critical situation, we have to understand the contextual demands very precisely. Chittagong is a fertile land for the Islamic movement. So, we have to utilize all potentials to convey the message of Islam among the city dwellers.
