Maulana Lutfor Rahman, the veteran religious scholar and the central president of Bangladesh Majlish-ul-Mufassirin is undergoing treatment in a city hospital after suffering a major brain stroke. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has visited the ailed scholar at the hospital this dawn and took information about his ongoing treatment. At that time, Jamaat’s central executive committee member Mobarak Hossain and Abu Salman, son of Maulana Lutfor Rahman accompanied the Acting Ameer. Professor Mujibur Rahman later hosted a prayer seeking quick recovery of Maulana Lutfor Rahman and urged the countrymen to offer prayer for this senior religious scholar.
