Chittagong North organizational district organised Associate Members' conference

The illegal parliament must be dissolved; new election to be arranged under caretaker government

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has said, Jamaat-e-Islami wants to build a peaceful and welfare state by establishing rule of Allah but not through militarily or any other means rather very much systematically and by applying the democratic norms. Jamaat tries to create public opinions by continuing its humanitarian and systematic activities. In this process, pwace can be attained only by implementing Islamic education both in personal and social lives. Jamaat leaders and workers must be ideal Muslim and good human beings. Almighty Allah has sent the holy Quran for us. So, we have to read it and practice it in all aspects of life. We have to take part in weekly and other programs. We have to circulate the message of Islam and also to conduct social welfare activities in order to lead the society.

He said, our worldly lives are very short and we have to sacrifice more to receive award in the hereafter. Along with our personal activities, we should make efforts to involve our family members and relatives with the Islamic movement.

Acting Ameer urged to dismiss the illegal parliament and to arrange another election immediately under the caretaker government. He also called upon to everyone to launch massive movement against the incumbent fascist government.

Acting Ameer said this while addressing the conference of the Associate Members organised by Chittagong North organizational district Jamaat-e-Islami. District Ameer Professor Nurul Amin Chowdhury presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Alauddin Shikdar. Among others, Central executive committee member and Chittagong region's coordinator Abdur Rab, Jamaat's assistant secretary general and Chittagong city Ameer Muhammad Shahjahan, and central working committee member and Chittagong region's team committee member Professor Ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan addressed the program. Chittagong North organizational district and Chittagong city Jamaat leaders and other representatives of various wing organizations also spoke on the occasion.
