Kushtia district Jamaat distributes warm clothes

Jamaat wants to make the helpless people happy

-Mobarak Hossain

Central executive committee member of Jamaat-e-Islami and coordinator for Jessore-Kushtia region Mobarak Hossain has said, the government has no public mandate and they have again captured the office by holding a farcical election. They have taken stance against the people. The countrymen did not go to the polling centers on 7th January for casting votes. They countrymen do not trust this government anymore. The local and international quarters already rejected the recently held election. The government has no moral right to stay in power.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is a systematic and democratic Islamic political party. This organisation has been continuing all activities peacefully as per the constitution. Despite such reality, the government is not allowing Jamaat-e-Islami to conduct its activities, rather they are creating various obstacles and barriers. Thousands of Jamaat leaders and activists are being kept detained in connection with false and concocted cases. Many Jamaat men have been murdered and injured. Due to government's obstruction, Jamaat-e-Islami cannot continue peaceful humanitarian program like winter clothes distribution.

However, defying the barriers of the fascist government, Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to work for the helpless and impoverished people. During the previous natural calamities, Jamaat had been with the general masses and it will continue to do so. Jamaat-e-Islami wants to make the helpless people happy. Mobarak Hossain urged the people to pray and inspire Jamaat-e-Islami so that the organisation can continue its noble activities in the upcoming days.

He said this while distributing winter clothes among the poor and helpless people. Kushtia district Jamaat-e-Islami organised the program on 12th January, Friday. District Ameer Professor Abul Hashem presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Professor Shujaud Dawla. District Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Abdul Gafur and Mahbub Mazhar were also present on the occasion.
