Magura district Jamaat distributes winter clothes

Jamaat-e-Islami is continuously working to reduce the suffering of the helpless people

-Mobarak Hossain

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region's coordinator Mobarak Hossain has said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is doing politics in accordance with democracy and constitution of the country. Jamaat's programs are systematic and peaceful. The autocratic government is not allowing Jamaat-e-Islami to hold meeting and rallies. They are conducting brutal repression against Jamaat-e-Islami. Thousands of leaders and activists are being harassed as false and concocted cases have been filed aginst them. Jamaat leaders and activists are being persecuted, abducted, murdered and made physically crippled. Fascist government is creating obstacles even in organizing normal programs like winter clothes distribution. Despite all these barriers, Jamaat-e-Islami is continuing its welfare activities. In all disasters, Jamaat was by the side of the impoverished people and will continue to be in the days to come.

He said this while distributing winter clothes in Magura today. Magura district Jamaat organized the event. District Ameer MB Baker presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Sayeed Ahmad. Among others, regional team member Dr. Alamgir Bishash, district office secretary Khairul Islam and Magura city Ameer Ashraful Islam were present at that moment.

Winter is getting severe in Magura and the entire south-western region of the country. The poor people are suffering the most. The lives of the working class people became hampered. Under the circumstances, as a sensible, ideological and pro-people organisation, Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to resolve the crisis of the winter-affected people.

Hopefully, the winter-affected people will be benefited because of this program. Jamaat's welfare activities will be continuing in future. He urged the government and the affluent corners of the society to extend their helping hand to the poor and helpless people.
