Winter clothes distributed in Maheshpur Upazila by Jhinaidah district Jamaat

Mobarak Hossain urges the affluent corners to take stand by the side of the helpless people

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain said, Jamaat-e-Islami always tries to remain by the side of the helpless and impoverished people as per its capacity. As a part of the human service orientation, we are here by your side. This winter clothes distribution is not an intention of pity only but we do it from our obligation. Responsibility of a political party is to offer contribution for the betterment and wellbeing of the people. From such understanding, Jamaat-e-Islami is working for public welfare irrespective of political, racial or ethnical identity. Jamaat-e-Islami do not consider people only on the basis of religion.

We consider people as human being. Jamaat wants to work for the welfare of all people. If Islamic state is established, people of all walks and religions will be benefited. Justice will be established in the society and people will get back their rights. We should engage in social welfare. We should convey the better touch of Islamic welfare to every household. The basic obligation of a Muslim preacher is to help the people. So, let us come forward to serve the humanity.

He said this while distributing winter clothes in Jhinaidah. District Ameer Ali Azam Muhammad Abu Bakar presided over the program. Jessore-Kushtia region’s team member Alamgir Bishash, Jhinaidah district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Matiur Rahman, district’s Assistant secretary Abdul Hie and Maheshpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Faruq Ahmed were present on the occasion.

Mobarak Hossain said, for last couple of days, the residents of Jhinaidah, Chuadanga and the neighboring districts are suffering from severe coldness. People’s normal livings are being hampered. Under the circumstances, as a responsible, ideal and pro-people organization, Jamaat-e-Islami has come forward to reduce the sufferings of the winter-affected people. We are expecting that these winter clothes will benefit the locals. Jamaat’s welfare activities will be continued in future, he added.
