Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim met the mournful family of slain Pairaband UP chairman Mahbubur Rahman. At that time, he consoled the victim family and tried to know their condition. He also visited the grave of Mahbubur Rahman and prayed to Allah to accept him as a martyr. The eldest son of the deceased Labib Ahsan, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Rangpur district Ameer and Mithapukur Upazila council’s former chairman Professor Golam Rabbani, Rangpur district Jamaat secretary Maulana Enamul Haq, Mithapukur Upazila secretary Asaduzzaman Shimul, Pairaband union Jamaat Ameer Hafez Abdus Samad, and Chhatrashibir leader Rafiqul Islam Rafi were present during the occasion.

It should be mentioned that, the miscreant killed Rangpur district’s Mithapukur Upazila’s Pairaband Union chairman, Rangpur district Sramik Kollan Federation’s Vice-President and Rangpur district Chhatrashibir’s former president Mahbubur Rahman, while he was returning home from his pharmacy at 9.30 pm on last 5th November. Maulana Abdul Halim became surprised to know that still the miscreant and the mastermind of this murder incident is not detained yet. He urged the administration and the law enforcers probe the incident and arrest the killers immediately.
