Jamaat declared nationwide blockade observed peacefully on 6th November

Jamaat declared blockade has been observed across the country peacefully today on 6th November. Jamaat-e-Islami declared the program demanding the resignation of the government, immediate restoration of the caretaker government system, release of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, all political detainees and religious scholars and protesting police’s obstruction in 28th October’s grand rally.

Demonstration also held during the blockade in various parts of the country in which the leaders said, next parliamentary election is set to be held soon. But no congenial atmosphere has been created so far for holding a peaceful election. The countrymen are passing amid anxiety. But paying no heed to the mass people’s thoughts, the government is continuing its tyrannical activities. We want to assert that, if the government mulls to hold another election like 2014 and 2018, the nation may be pushed toward a deep crisis.

In that case, the government will be responsible for such situation. The leaders urged the government to accept the demand of restoring caretaker government system for the greater interest of the nation and also for bringing stable situation back in the country.

Marking 6th November’s blockade, peaceful processions and demonstrations were held in Dhaka south and north city, Chittagong city, Gazipur city, Rajshahi city, Narayanganj city, Barisal city, Sylhet city, Narayanganj district, and also Gaibandha, Pabna, Meherpur, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Brahmanbaria., Comilla north district, Chandpur, Natore, Chapai Nawabganj, Bogra, Bhola, Laxmipur, Naogaon, Patuakhali, Nilphamari and other parts of the country.
