Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said, the government is carrying torture and repression continuously. Anarchy and chaos are prevailing everywhere. By holding voter less election, Awami League has put the nation in severe sufferings. The countrymen do not want to see such situation anymore. We have to protest injustice and we should take stand against the unjust and undemocratic activities of the government. If the election held under the caretaker government, people will get the chance to cast their votes freely. So, we have to be united to restore caretaker government in order to secure public rights.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said this while distributing essentials among the flood victims in Chokoria of Cox’s Bazar. District Ameer Maulana Nur Ahmed Anwari presided over the program. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Chittagong city Ameer Maulana Mohammad Shahjahan, central executive committee member Mobarak Hossain, central Majlish-e-Shura member Jafor Sadeq and Cox’s Bazar city Ameer and the nominee of the constituency Abdullah Al Faruq were present on the occasion.
He said, the law of Allah to be established in the society to secure peoples’ rights. Jamaat-e-Islami is making the efforts. Jamaat activists were in favor of the repressed and they will be. Allah has given the life and death to test and we should make effort to pass the test. We have to continue good deeds as a part of this effort.
We have to follow the path of Allah and His messenger. Man-made doctrine can not bring peace to the humanity. We have to try to save us from the hellfire. To do so, we should remain firm and united on the path of Allah. Jamaat-e-Islami is working hard to establish Islam in this country. He said, when I was the member of parliament, I tried sincerely and accordingly the system of break during the prayer were initiated. System of praying for the deceased was also launched at the same time instead of observing one minute silence. This is not my personal contribution, rather it was the contribution of Jamaat-e-Islami.
