During the Barisal City Corporation election on 12th June, mayoral candidate and senior Nayeb-e-Ameer of Islami Andolon Bangladesh Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim came under severe terrorist attack. A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir went to Chormonai today and met the injured leader. Jamaat delegation extended sympathy to him. Jamaat and Chhatrashibir leaders prayed to Allah for the earliest recovery of the Islami Andolon leader.

Jamaat delegation comprises of party’s central working committee member and central Ulama department’s Secretary Dr. Shaykh Khalilur Rahman Madani, Barisal City Ameer Maulana Jahir Uddin Muhammad Babar, Dhaka City South Ulama department president Principal Maulana Mosharraf Hossain, Barisal district Jamaat Ameer Professor Abdul Zabbar, Barisal city Secretary Maulana Matiur Rahman, Barisal region’s Ulama department leader Maulana Habibur Rahman, Maulana Kamrul Islam Khan and Barisal city Chhatrashibir president Ahmad Bayzid.
