-Professor Mujibur Rahman

A members’ conference of Jamaat-e-Islami Pabna district was virtually held on 3rd February, Friday. District Ameer Professor Abu Taleb Mondol presided over the program which was hosted by district Secretary Principal Maulana Iqbal Hossain. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman addressed the conference as the chief guest. While the party’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General, and regional coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim addressed the program as the special guests.

Professor Mujibur Rahman said the people who will remain in servitude to Allah, will enter into paradise. On the contrary, who will deny Allah, will be entitled to hell. Addressing the member, he further said, we have to be prepared to establish Deen Islam through the sacrifice of lives and properties like the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon Him). We have to perform all tasks only for attaining the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. We have to gain knowledge of the Quran and the Hadith and exercise accordingly. In our personal lives, we should maintain relationships with our relatives and family members. We should try to lead a life, free from loans. We should not violate other people’s rights and have to exercise forgiving others.

Terming the incumbent government, he also said, we have to initiate a broad base movement against this oppressor government for securing human rights. Our movement will be successful only with the blessings of Almighty Allah. We have to restore the caretaker government system by continuing such a movement and also to secure people’s voting rights by holding elections under the caretaker government.
