A head-on collision between two buses on the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway near Kharubhaj Bridge in Taraganj Upazila took place on the last 4th of September. 5 people were killed on the spot and 4 others died while undergoing treatment. More than 50 passengers became injured.

A delegation of Jamaa-e-Islami led by the party’s central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s team member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal went to the Rangpur medical college to see the latest condition of the injured.

Among others, Rangpur city Ameer Maulana ATM Azam Khan, district Ameer Professor Golam Rabbani, Kotowali thana Ameer Md. Forhad Hossain Mondol were present at that time. Jamaat leaders prayed to Allah seeking quick recovery of the injured. They also talked to their families and consoled them.
