Half-yearly members’ conference of Khulna city Jamaat held

Corruption, misrule, murder, and abduction have gulped the nation, says Maulana Masum

Although, Bangladesh is regarded as a democratic country constitutionally, but the government has seized people’s voting rights away and ruined the electoral system. There is no existence of rule of law, human rights, and justice. The government does not care about the law and the constitution. They have taken away the rights of the opposition to hold processions and rallies. To rescue the nation from this suffocating situation, there is no alternative but to establish an elected government.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum said this while addressing the members’ conference as the chief guest. Khulna city Jamaat arranged the program on the 26th of August.

Maulana Masum further said people have to leave this earth one day. Every human being has to be accountable for their worldly deeds. So, as per our oath, we have to fulfill the rights of our family, neighbors, relatives, and the leaders and activists of our beloved organization. Loyalty and discipline is the main feature of this organization. We have to maintain these features in all occasions. We should not suffer from an inferiority complex. We have to be alert about implementing all moral, ethical, and overall programs.

Jamaat’s central working committee member and Khulna city Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abul Kalam Azad presided over the program, which was hosted by city Secretary and central Majlish-e-Shura member Professor Mahfuzur Rahman. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, central organizing secretary, and Khulna region’s coordinator Muhaddith Abdul Khaleq addressed the program. Darsul Quran was delivered by Sarkhira district Jamaat Ameer Muhaddith Rabiul Bashar.

Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Khulna city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Master Shafiqul Alam, Assistant Secretary Muhammad Shah Alam and Advocate Sheikh Jahangir Hossain Helal spoke on the occasion.
