No alternative to establishing Quranic law for turning this country into a peaceful, developed and welfare state, says Maulana Masum

Religious scholars and Islam-loving people are being tortured and persecuted for their louder voice in favor of the holy Quran. The incumbent government cannot even tolerate the in-house program as well.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajganj district organized a members’ conference on 18th August, Thursday morning. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum took part in the program virtually as the chief guest and made the aforesaid remarks.

Sirajganj district Jamaat Ameer and party’s central Majlish-e-Shura member Maulana Shahinur Alam presided over the program, which was hosted by district Secretary Professor Zahidul Islam. Central organizing secretary Maulana Momtaz Uddin delivered Dars from the holy Quran. Among others, Bogra region’s team member Maulana Abdul Haq Sarkar, district Nayeb-e-Ameer and central Majlish-e-Shura member Ali Alam and Maulana Abdus Salam also spoke on the occasion.

Maulana ATM Masum further said, Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to create public opinion and impression against the torture and repression of the government. Jamaat-e-Islami is also trying to establish a just society in a systematic and democratic way. There is no alternative but initiating a Quranic rule for turning this country into a peaceful, developed, and welfare state. Jamaat-e-Islami is working hard to ensure mass freedom.

He said that salvation will not be secured if we personally can turn into a servant of Allah. Rather we have to make efforts to make everyone like that. It was the strategy and target of the Prophets. The members should try to follow in the footsteps of the Prophets.

Maulana Shahinur Alam urged the district members to play the due role in strengthening the Islamic movement.
