Jamaat helps road accident victim families in Kushtia

On last 10th January, 4 labors were crushed by sand-loaded truck in Bhadalia at Kushtia-Jhinaidah highway. 3 of them were women and one was man. Several other labors got injured in this accident. On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, financial assistances were provided to the victim families on 14th January. As a representative of Jamaat Ameer, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain conveyed the assistances to the victims.

Attending the occasion virtually, Jamaat Ameer said, it is fact that since the independence, Bangladesh has visible infrastructural development. But the people are still deprived from the benefit of independence. People’s lives and properties are not safe. Road infrastructure is very poor as such many people are being killed on the road on regular basis. Government should play effective role to protect citizen rights and also to bring back discipline on the highway.

Jamaat Ameer said, Jamaat-e-Islami wants to turn Bangladesh into a welfare state based on the Quranic principles. Despite unprecedented tortures and repression, Jamaat has been working for the oppressed and underprivileged people. We always try to take stand by the side of the disaster and accident victims and will try to continue it. I am praying to Allah to accept all the deceased of the Bhadalia road accident as martyr and also praying for their family so that they get rid of pains. May Allah bless them with patience.

Among others, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain, district Ameer Khondokar AKM Ali Mohsin, Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Forhad Hossain, district Secretary Professor AbulHashem, Assistant Secretary Abdul Gafur and Professor ShujauddinJoardar, SadarUpazila Ameer Hamidul Islam and Sadar secretary Abdus Salam were present on the occasion.
