Former Shibir leaders have to come forward in rebuilding the nation, says Matiur Rahman Akanda

Bangladesh, although a historically enriched nation with tremendous potentialities is suffering from severe in want of leadership. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and party’s central publicity Affairs Secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda urges the former leaders of Islami Chhatrashibir to meet those deficiencies. He said this while addressing a gathering organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Jamalpur district on 24th September.

Advocate Akanda said, sons of this soil are residing in various parts of the world. Former leaders and activists of Islami Chhatrashibir are also have been working under different professions with reputation across the world. While, Bangladesh is looking forward to the younger generation for the honest and qualified leadership. Former leaders and activists of Chhatrashibir are needed to come forward to meet that expectation. We have to build a strong organizational base through massive dawah activities. We have to own the social leadership by adopting practical strategies and multidimensional social activities.

Jamalpur city Jamaat Ameer Professor Asimul Islam presided the program in a local auditorium. Jamalpur district Ameer Advocate Nazmul Haque Sayedee addressed the program as the special guest. Among others, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Mirza Abdul Mazed, Professor Harunur Rashid, district Secretary Kabir Ahmed Humayun, city Secretary Mesbahul Qaiyum and those former student leaders who had discharged duty as the district president of Islami Chhatrashibir since 80’s, also addressed on the occasion.
