Jamaat Ameer meets the families of late Mufti Waqqas and Muhaddis Abu Sayeed

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has met the families of former MP of Jessore-5 constituency and President of Jomiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh and former state minister of religion Mufti Muhammad Waqqas and Ex-Mp of Jessore-2 constituency, Jessore West organizational district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and noted religious scholar Muhaddis Abu Sayeed Muhammad Shahadat Hossain on last 10 June, 2021.

Ameer-e-Jamaat at that time visited the grave of Mufti Muhammad Waqqas and talked to his family members and consoled them. Jamaat Ameer also visited the Mosque, Madrasa and orphanage, established by late Mufti Waqqas and recalled his contribution in circulating religious education in Bangladesh.

On the same day, he also visited the grave of Ex-Mp of Jessore-2 constituency, Jessore West organizational district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and noted religious scholar Muhaddis Abu Sayeed Muhammad Shahadat Hossain and met his family members. Muhaddis Abu Sayeed was popular political figure. During the tenure of 4 party alliances government, he established many schools, colleges, Mosque, Madrasa, Bridges, culverts and roads in order to facilitate massive development in his locality. During the visit, Jamaat Ameer also remembered his contributions and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.

At that time, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and coordinator of the Jessore-Kushtia region Mobarak Hossain, central organizing secretary Azizur Rahman, central working committee member and Khulna city Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Jessore city organizational district Ameer Professor Golam Rasul, Jessore East organizational district Ameer Master Md. Nurunnabi and noted lawyer Advocate Gazi Enamul Haque accompanied Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
