The people of the coastal areas have lost their houses, properties and various establishments during the cyclone Yaas which took place on last 26th May. This time the cyclone came even before the recovery of the last disaster ‘Amphan. Ás a responsible and ideological organization, Jamaat can not play a passive role in this crucial condition. So, we have come forward to remove people’s miseries. We hope, our little effort will help you a bit. Insha Allah, we will be by your side in the upcoming days as well.
The people of the coastal districts including the people of Khulna, Satkhira and Bagerhat are suffering miserably because of this natural calamity. It is the obligation of the government to ensure rule of law and to protect lives and properties of the people. It is their duty to maintain law and order and also to tackle natural disasters. But the government fails to meet those basic demands. Rather, price of the essentials hiked abnormally which intensified the mass crises. The economic sectors are also at the verge of collapse due to unprecedented corruption of the government and the ruling party leaders.
Among others, Jamaat’s central working committee member and Khulna city Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Khulna North organizational district Ameer Maulana Imran Hossain, Secretary Munshi Mizanur Rahman, youth Affairs leader Advocate Abu Yousuf Molla, DumuriaUpazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Maulana Azhar Ali and local labor and political leaders were present on the occasion.
