Jamaat Ameer visits Kollanpur slum fire spots; assures to support victims

A massive fire broke out at 10.03 pm on 30 October in Notun Bazar slum of Kollanpur of the capital. Hundreds of shanties turned into ashes following the blaze. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited the spot this morning to extend his condolence, sympathy and support to the victims.

Jamaat Ameer expressed his heartfelt emotions for the victims. He also tried to know the latest treatment status of the injured. He also vowed to support the victim families. Ameer-e-Jamaat asked the affected people to hold patience and also to have full trust and confidence upon Almighty Allah for their survival.

Among others, Jamaat’s central working committee member and Dhaka city North’s secretary Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka city North’s Assistant Secretary Lashkar Mohammad Taslim, General Secretary of Bangladesh Sramik Kollan Federation Atikur Rahman, Sramik Kollan Federation Dhaka city North unit’s President Muhibullah, Sramik Kollan Federation Dhaka city South unit’s President Abdus Salam, Sramik Kollan Federation Dhaka city North unit’s Secretary HM Atikur Rahman, Islami Chhatrashibir Dhaka city West’s President Enamul Haque and Secretary Maruf Hasan, Jamaat’s Mirpur East and West thana Ameer and other leaders and activists accompanied the Jamaat Ameer.
