Mymensingh district Jamaat leader died; central leaders attend the Namaj-e-Janaja

The Namaj-e-Janaja of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Mymensingh district’s member and noted social worker Md Yousuf Ali held at 10 in the morning on 28 September 2020 at the Akua Government Primary School ground of the Mymensingh Sadar area. Huge number of people attended the prayer despite the covid-19 pandemic situation. Renowned religious scholar Shaikhul Hadith Hafez Maulana Allama Nurul Islam led the prayer.

Prior to the funeral prayer, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and central publicity Department’s Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda, Mymensingh district Jamaat Ameer Abdul Karim, Tangail district Jamaat’s former Ameer Professor Abdul Hamid, Mymensingh district Jamaat’s former Ameer Professor Jashim Uddin, district Secretary Maulana Mozammel Haque Akanda, Mymensingh city Jamaat Ameer Kamrul Ahsam Emrul and Advocate Amanullah Badal spoke on the occasion.
Matiur Rahman Akanda said, late Yousuf Ali was a sincere preacher of the Islamic movement. He served the Muslim devotees of his community while staying in Saudi Arabia. He was involved with various social activities. He sacrificed a piece of his land just to facilitate the construction of an orphanage.

He also extended deep sympathy to his family and prayed for the deceased so that Almighty Allah bless him with Jannah. Later, Yousuf Ali was buried in his family graveyard following his second funeral at his native village, located in Ghagra of the district Sadar.
