Jamaat Ameer visits the victim families of Narayanganj Mosque tragedy; extends his sympathy and support

In order to express his sympathy and also to console the victim families, who have lost their near and dear ones in the recent explosion that took place in Baitus Salam Mosque of the Pashchim Tolla area of Narayanganj, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited their houses on 7 September 2020.

Jamaat Ameer extended his condolence and sympathy to the mournful families. He also wanted to know the latest condition of medical care and treatment of the injured ones from the family members. During the visit, he consoled them and provided some financial support. Jamaat Ameer also prayed to Allah to accept all the deceased as the martyrs. He also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured. Jamaat Ameer prayed and wished that the family members would be able to recover themselves from their ongoing psychological trauma shortly.

Among others, Narayanganj city Jamaat Ameer Maulana Mainuddin Ahmad, city Secretary Maulana Abdul Qaiyum, Assistant Secretary Saiful Islam, Narayanganj city Jamaat’s working committee member Jakir Hossain, Hafez Nasir Uddin, Islami Chhatrashibir President Hafez Kawsar Hossen and a significant number of central and local leaders were present during the occasion.

Jamaat Ameer also visited the damaged mosque. He urged the concerned authorities to probe into the accident and also to take due initiatives in this regard.
