Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman issued a condolence statement today, 18 December expressing profound sorrow over the martyrdom of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch and steadfast July revolution hero.

In the statement, he said: "Sharif Osman Hadi was a courageous July fighter and a true patriot. He never bowed before injustice. His voice always stood against all imperialist forces and oppression. He was an uncompromising warrior. No worldly temptation or greed could sway him."

He further added: "Osman Hadi dreamed of building a humane, new Bangladesh. His role in the struggle for a society based on justice, truth, and fairness was extremely significant. With his martyrdom, the nation has lost a fearless voice and an idealistic fighter. The void created by his sacrifice cannot be easily filled. His powerful voice must inspire the new generation, and people of all parties must move forward to realize his vision. The nation will remember his contributions with deep respect."

He concluded by saying, "I pray to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of his soul and accept his martyrdom. I extend heartfelt condolences to his wife, innocent children, grieving family members, fellow fighters, and well-wishers. I also pray that Allah grants them the strength to bear this immense loss."
