Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence at the death of renowned poet and literary person Asad Bin Hafiz.

Poet Asad Bin Hafiz was a renowned poet of Bengali literature, noted poet of the believers, literary personality, researcher and intellectual. From the ideological perspective, he followed the trend of poet Farrukh Ahmed. His literary activities reflect the spirit of the revival of the Muslims and Islamic revolution. Along with the creativity, he included Islamic approach. His literary creations for children and poems are incomparable in contemporary literature. His literary activities will inspire the latest generation in many ways.

He published 81 books so far. As a recognition of his tremendous works and literature, he has received lots of prizes and awards. Islamic literature and cultural movement will suffer terribly due to his demise. We are deeply saddened at the death of this noble personality. May Allah forgive him and expand his grave. May Allah forgive his sins and turn his sins into pieties. May Allah bless him with Jannah. May Allah allow his family, relatives and fans to hold patience. Ameen.
