Allama Lutfor Rahman was veteran Islamic scholar and a preacher of Islam. As a member of Jamaat-e-Islami, he was a sincere and dedicated soul to establish Islam. In the case of Ittehadul Ummah and other occasions, his role to unify the community of Islamic scholars will be remembered always. He was involved with hundreds of religious and academic institutions. He was the spiritual guide of the scholar community and the Islam-loving people. He has worked relentlessly against Shirk, innovations in Islam and other anti-Islamic activities. The countrymen will remember him for his religious services for years. The nation has lost a great personality at his demise and his vacuum will not be fulfilled easily.
May Allah bless him with paradise. May Allah forgive him and shower mercy on him. I am extending my sympathy to his mournful family, well-wisher, and colleagues.
