Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair has issued the following message of condolence on 29th October 2023 expressing deep shock at the death of senior journalist, BFUJ’s former executive member and permanent member of National Press club Rafiq Ullah Bhuiyan.

“Senior journalist, BFUJ’s former executive member and permanent member of National Press club Rafiq Ullah Bhuiyan became injured in a tear shell, hurled by the police force on 28th October and subsequently died. Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He was a famous journalist of undivided BFUJ and CMUJ. I am expressing deep shock at his death.

The nation lost a noted journalist at his demise. His role in publishing authentic news is praiseworthy. He has struggled throughout his life for upholding the truth. I am praying for the salvation of the departed soul and extending sympathy to his mournful family members and colleagues.
