Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 12th April at the death of the founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra and veteran freedom fighter Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury.

Late Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury has played a key role in outlining National Medicine Policy. He also gained reputation as the doctor of the poor. He has struggled throughout his life to safeguard the nation, democracy, and people's voting rights. I am expressing deep shock at the death of Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury. May Allah reward him for his nobld deeds also bless his mournful with patience to overcome this shock.
