He was the advisor to the Prime Minister from 2009 to 2016. In 2016, he became the vice chairman of BNP’s central executive committee.
He was a vocal person and acted as a symbol of justice. He was proactive in preserving and protecting the freedom of the judiciary. He has struggled throughout his life to establishing rule of law, truth, and justice. He also played a pivotal role as the lawyer of the defence team in the international crimes tribunal. The Islam-loving people will always remember him for his stand for truth. The nation lost a prominent lawyer and veteran politician at his demise. I am praying for his departed soul and extending sympathy to his mournful family members and colleagues.
