Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah dies at 91; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 30 September 2020 at the death of Kuwaiti ruler Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

In the condolence message Jamaat Ameer stated that, “We are deeply shocked and saddened at the death of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. Along with the fellow Kuwaiti citizens, the people of Bangladesh are also mournful at his death. World’s Muslim communities have lost a guardian over his demise. He has played significant role for resolving different problems of the Muslim world and also to restore peace and stability. He also contributed significantly to bolster the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait. He will be remembered for his dynamic role in mediating regional issues and for his humanitarian approaches. He is known for his philanthropic activities in the Middle East and the entire Muslim world.

May Allah accept all his noble services to bless him with Jannah. I am extending my deep shock and sympathy to the Kuwaiti people, their new Emir, mournful family of late Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and his relatives.
