Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar has issued following message of condolence on 24 September 2020 at the death of renowned Homeopathy doctor of this sub-continent Dr. Abdul Gaffar Khan (AG Khan).

“Great son of the soil of Barguna district, noted Homeopathy doctor Abdul Gaffar Khan (AG Khan) died of cardiac arrest at the age of 55 on 23rd September. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. The nation lost a great physician at his demise. His vacuum will not be fulfilled easily. I am expressing deep shock at his death.

Dr. AG Khan was a famous homeopathy doctor of this region. Along with his medical services, he was also involved with many humanitarian and religious activities. He was a patron of Islamic movement and patronized many Mosques, Madrasa and orphanages. He served the poor and the distressed communities. May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah. May Allah enable his mournful family to hold patience.
