Among the injured, there are reportedly 78 Bangladeshi expatriates as well. This massive blast caused huge loss of lives and properties. Along with the Lebanese people, we the Bangladeshis are also shocked and grieved over the incident. We hope that the Lebanese government will probe into the blast incident and subsequently will take due steps to stop the recurrence of any such tragedy once again. It must be investigated whether this is a terrorist attack or not.

We are extending our sympathy to all the families who have lost their nearest one in this explosion. We are praying for the quick recovery of the wounded victims. We hope and believe that the people and the government of Lebanon will be able to recover the losses shortly.
