Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General and former lawmaker Mia Golam Porwar visited BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who has been admitted to Evercare Hospital, on Sunday night, 30 November.

At that time, he was received by BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain. Also present there were Adviser to the Interim Government on Information Mahfuz Alam, BNP Vice-Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo, Special Assistant to the BNP Chairperson Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, and BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Elias Ali’s wife Tahsina Rushdir Luna.

Mia Golam Porwar inquired about Begum Khaleda Zia’s health condition and spoke with the doctors regarding the progress of her ongoing treatment. He prayed to Almighty Allah for her quick recovery and complete good health.

He was accompanied by Dhaka City North Jamaat’s Medical Thana President and Jamaat-nominated Member of Parliament candidate for Dhaka-17 constituency Dr. S.M. Khaliduzzaman.
