Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar, who is visiting Japan now, holds a courtesy meeting and exchanged views with Mr. Shah Asif Rahman, Charge d'Affairs of Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
Professor Mia Golam Parwar at that time, discussed various bilateral issues related to the interests of both countries. During the conversation, Secretary General laid special emphasis on Japan's investment in Bangladesh and ensuring the interests of Japanese expatriates.
Addressing the embassy officials including Charge the Affairs Mr. Shah Asif Rahman, he said, "Japan is one of Bangladesh's core development partners and a tested friend of Bangladesh. Since the independence, Japan has been working to develop various infrastructures in Bangladesh. He commented that it is very important to take necessary steps and initiatives regarding the development of business and investment in Bangladesh as well as how to create employment in various sectors with the cooperation of Japan.
Central President of Islamic Mission Japan Mr. Hafez Saber Ahmad, former President Misbahul Kabir and General Secretary Engineer Abdullah Al Maruf were present at the time. Political Minister of the embassy Mr. Sheikh Farid, First Secretary (Labour) Mr. Zainal Abedin and others were also present on behalf of Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo.
